Job Details
Job Summary
Purpose: Responsible for full spectrum of Accounts Receivable and other related accounting functions for Singapore entities. Ensure the smooth operation of AR’s daily operation functions and activities.
Department: Finance/Accounts
- Act as back-up for Credit Control issues
- Apply on Account receipts and enter daily customers’ receipts into Oracle’s AR module
- Apply payments to customers’ accounts
- Generate and send dunning letters and Statement of Accounts
- Issue of SGP entities’ non-trade invoices to Customers and other GMCs
- Perform bi-monthly AR closing in Oracle’s financial module, including AR’s revaluation, reconciliation between sub-ledger and GL and generate all relevant reports
- Reconcile Statement of Accounts with customers’ record details
- Reconciliation of customers’ payment details
- Responsible for monthly closing, prepare and review monthly financial reports on time and submit to HQ and internal purpose in a timely manner
- Responsible for preparing and reconcile AR’s monthly financial reports, inclusive of L/C maturing report, in a timely manner
- Submit sales invoices via Internet, according to the customers’ requests
- Update and filling of daily receipts and sales invoices
- Update withholding of tax and responsible to obtain original copy of withholding tax receipts
- Compliance with company’s policies, internal controls and local statutory requirements
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
